St. Rose of Lima: 2006

We had been invited to St. Rose of Lima to greet about 200 children. They had just finished a nativity pageant and some of the children were dressed in costume, setting the mood of the "real" meaning of Christmas. Santa and I greeted each of the darling children. Personalities were as different as outward appearances.
Each child was delightful and a masterpiece. One little boy, about six was especially shy. He cast his eyes down and covered his ears with his hands so he didn't have to see or hear Santa.

Santa said, "Oh, are you bashful?"

Hands went down. Eyes locked gaze, "I'm not bashful! I'm Kevin!"
