Central Utah Center for Independent Living (CUCIL): 2006
Sometimes Santa gets requests for presents that are hard to fill. Such was the case with some of the delightful people we met at CUCIL. One woman wanted a home. One wanted a friend. Another wanted Peace, Joy and Love in the world. One wanted nothing for herself. When the later happens Santa says it is because they are busy thinking of others.
Such was the spirit of the people who came to the Christmas celebration. Their spirit was so strong you could feel it in the room. And Mrs. Santa had a start when someone wanted to sit on her lap.
When Santa gets requests like those mentioned above all he can do is go home and pray to the One who has more control over the matter than he does. What beautiful requests. What beautiful people! Thank you, CUCIL.
