Somebody's Hugging On Me: 2005

As it got time to leave, Santa was busy saying good-bye to children and their parents. All of a sudden he yelled out, "Somebody's hugging on me!" I looked down to see a sweet little girl with a small backpack on her back, with her arms tightly wrapped around Santa's leg and she was not about to let go. Santa does not remember that she was particularly clingy when she visited him. She may have even been a bit shy, but that had left her completely. Was she saying good-bye, or was she trying to keep him from leaving? Santa turned around, knelt down on her level, and said, "Let's do this up right. Let's have a big hug."

She soon let go of her grip and accepted the good-bye from Santa and left with her parents.

You can never say good-bye completely to these precious children,

for you carry them with you in your heart, talk about them,

and pray that life will treat them fairly and fondly.
Let it be so. Let it be so.

Mrs. Claus
