I Asked About His Family: 2004

We sent pictures to our children and siblings of Mr. and Mrs. Santa. One of my sisters excitedly called me to tell me what happened when she took the picture to school where she works. She told the children that instead of sending a wish list to Santa she had written him a letter, asking him about his family. "And look what he sent me in the mail!" she said, as she pulled out the picture. She said the children of the school have just gone crazy over it. Even the staff have pleaded for a copy of the picture and so she has made ten copies of it to give to them.

A little boy knew right away who Mrs. Claus was--she was his wife. Which reminds me. Often people walk up to us and ask if we are married or are we just working together? They are always thrilled to learn we are married. The children decided it was the real Santa because of his beard and his cherry nose. My sister was very excited. That pleased me very much.
