Can I Be Your Elf?: 2004

The greeter at Wal-mart was wearing an elf hat. He was very excited to see us. He said his night was good now that he had seen Mr. and Mrs. Santa. When it got time for us to leave he begged us to stay. He told us that he wanted to be our elf. He was wearing an elf hat and we told him he was certainly dressed for it. He told us he was soon to have his fifth open heart surgery to fix a valve. We told him we would be thinking of him. We hugged and reluctantly said good-bye.
