When the Cops Came: 2004

Six-year-old Sarah was very excited to see Santa. After several hugs she was sitting on his lap, answering Santa's questions. Have you been nice? How is your gymnatics? How is school? You know--regular Santa questions. But one question was not met with a regular answer.
"When was your last birthday, Sarah?"

"When the cops came," answered Sarah, as if that was a matter of fact occurance.

Relieved that it brought a wave of laughter from the family, Santa continued on.

We never did find out what the cops came for.
