Birthday Girls: 2004

We entered the Red Lion motel, looking for a particular group when we stumbled on a group of women--about twenty "Aunt Nona" type women who had met to celebrate the birthdays of two of their group. "We've been waiting for you, Santa." they exclaimed, causing Mrs. Santa to wonder whether another Santa was coming and they had taken him by mistake. We spent some time with the wonderful women, paying special attention to the two birthday girls--giving them hugs and kisses.
