Hop Over To IHOP: 2004

After we left the hospital, we headed straight for home--not that the day was over because it was only 4:30 p.m We just needed to go potty real bad. With that out of the way we decided it was time to eat supper so we headed for IHOP. Now, we couldn't really hop there because we could barely walk after three hours of visiting the people of at the hospital. It was a miracle that we were still moving. On the way we stopped in at Jo Ann's Fabrics to get some more ribbon for Santa's necktie. We went to IHOP after that. There weren't too many people there...just enough to have some visits and have a nice meal at the same time. The highlight was an family who spotted us and brought their children up to visit Santa. It was nice. After we were through we headed for home. We settled in on the couch together, sitting side by side like we always do, holding hands and just being relaxed around each other. I see lots about Santa and one of the things I like the most is that he trusts me enough to let me see all sides of him, including the one that just sits by me and is fairly quiet. Sometimes I feel the same way. It is just so comfortable knowing the person you love and knowing you can just be yourself around them.
