He was shy but he had a heartfelt wish. His voice was barely audible but he said, "Santa, can I have a puppy?"
Santa had suggestions about this. "I tell you what. Why don't you ask your mom or dad to take you to a place like the Humane Society where you and your puppy can find each other. Then on Christmas Eve I can bring you a puppy bed or toy or treat. Would that be O.K.?" It was.
There are people in this world who have a lot of love to give to animals. God bless them for that.
