The Wig: 1997

Santa shaved off his natural beard and had a theatrical beard amd wig made.

His grandaughter didn't know what to think of it.


It was beautiful but would not stick unless he used super glue. It was hard to get off each night. From that time on he decided he would always use his own beard, as he had done before. It never was really long because he didn't start growing it longer until the end of June. It didn't matter how long it was. It was the twinkle in Santa's eyes that mattered and that was always there.

My aunts continued to love seeing Santa at Christmas.
